I'll just echo what everyone has said: The Fitness and Nutrition Trackers are both very valuable tools for helping to achieve a healthy lifestyle. And Barbie's comment about a supportive spouse is really on target. You'll have a much better chance of success if you're surrounded by close, supportive friends!
And, my own piece of advice: The Spark site is very rich in opportunities, so much that it can be overwhelming. Start slowly, with one or two things you do every day. As you develop the habit of accomplishing those tasks, slowly add to the offerings Spark has.
