Hello I am new to the Team, I joined SP in September and am just now looking for a few teams to join. I've lost my weight twice now. Once for work and then again for a promotion...since then I have had a baby and a few other stressors...I just haven't been able to shake the weight this time. Looking for a fun group to join.

Just stopping in to say hi and introduce myself. I have been on SP since may of this year and have just joined a gym and am having a wonderful time. I've lost around 35 pounds and have a bit more to go. But this time I think I will do it and keep it off! Yeah Spark People!
I usually lurk in the teams but put my two cents in whenever I can. Barbara PS Diamondfooler was my first horses' name.
I'll just echo what everyone has said: The Fitness and Nutrition Trackers are both very valuable tools for helping to achieve a healthy lifestyle. And Barbie's comment about a supportive spouse is really on target. You'll have a much better chance of success if you're surrounded by close, supportive friends!
And, my own piece of advice: The Spark site is very rich in opportunities, so much that it can be overwhelming. Start slowly, with one or two things you do every day. As you develop the habit of accomplishing those tasks, slowly add to the offerings Spark has.

SP is such a wonderful site with even more wonderful members. I agree with using the nutrition and fitness trackers daily - they have been the best tools in getting me on my way to a healthy weight and lifestyle.

Welcome to our team, and congratulations on your recent marriage. I hope your hubby is behind you in your endeavor to become healthy as it will make it so much easier for you. My best tips are to use the food and exercise tracker religously and keep your goals ever present so you can't forget. That's the only thing that semi works for me! Hugs and good luck!
