SP has been a God-send to me. There are so many great tools and wonderful, supportive members. I agree with keeping up with tracking your nutrition and fitness - doing this daily really does make a big difference.
With three children you must have a hectic schedule and SP will fit in well for you - it's here when you have time and you don't have to leave home or worry about getting to meetings. I really love that!
Hello Katie ,Welcome and we are glad you are here . My one piece of advise to you would be to record your meals and snacks on the nutrition page and do the end of day follow up where you can see what calories ,carbs and fats and other nutrients you have eaten compared to how many you need .It is so important to eat 3 meals a day with breakfast being very important . Studies have shown that people who eat 3 meals or more a day are more likely to be able to continue with diet and make a lifestyle change . It is easier to lose and you do not put your body in starvation mode which can actually keep you from losing weight . Everyone needs at least 1200 calories a day and if you let Sparks calculate for you based on your weight and height it will tell you approximately what calorie range you should be eating in to lose weight in a healthy manner . That is just one of the many great things about this site . You will meet some wonderful people and learn much from articles and blogs and the tools on here .
