I like walking. I walk very slow (I think) due to an ankle issue. But I keep it up. I am going back to work in 2 weeks and will miss my sunrise walks. I love hearing the birds and frogs waking up. I won't have the same experience in the eveing. Although I'm looking forward to finding out what goes on then.
Welcome to the team and sparkpeople. I agree, the nutrition tracker is what helped me to really change the way I eat. I'm not one to go to the gym, so I started walking. I actually enjoy the time by myself and since I've been taking my Ipod, it makes the time go by so quick.
Welcome to the team! This is a great place to find support and motivation; we're here to help each other succeed, so check out the great features, post in the forums, make some friends, and, most of all, have fun!
Welcome to SP & the team, Jean! The nutrition tracker is a great tool to help learning what to eat & what not to eat. Try following their meal plans & alternate to fit your lifestyle. Soon enough, you'll have the hang of it & be able to design meals & snacks all on your own. Of course, fruits & veggies are always good choices!
I agree with Sandy on finding something you really enjoy & building an active lifestyle around that. Just stick around & you'll start seeing results!

hello...I am Sandy and it's great to have you with us. I am the ultimate have fun and get fit advocate. What do you absolutely love that is physically active? I always ask this because for me, it was dance, and it was somewhat hidden away from my forefront. But dig deep and think of what you love and find a way to do something active around it. That way, you're having fun, truly, and getting a workout.
