welcome... I'm like you I was a nice size years ago... I had my first child and right back to a size 7-8 loved it! Had my 2nd and I actually thought I wasn't gaining enough weight with her! After she was born though, I started piling it on! Size 16 some 18s!! OUCH! This past jan. I decided it was coming off...
1st thing I did was start a cardio exercise program just 30 minutes.. then I stopped all sodas and little debbies! I lost 9 pounds just doing that!
then I found this site!
USE THE NUTRTION TRACKER! It will help put food in it's right perspective! And try and stay focused and positive!
And the best motivator tip I found on here is " If you fall off the wagon... It's ok just get back on ...You are still doing better than you were before!" I can't tell you how much that helps me when I'd stumble!

I agree with keeping up with the nutrition and fitness trackers - they are amazing tools.

One of the best things about SP is the people. There is always someone to motivate and support you when you need it.

Hi and welcome to the team. Start using the nutrition tracker to see where you can make changes. Drink the 8 glasses of water. If you don't like to exercise, just try walking 10 min a day and try to increase it slowly. Keep posting or reading message boards. This is a great site for motivation.

I seen this sight today & decide to sign up. I'm going to finally face up to my weight gain. I'm VERY much aware of the weight gain. I want to lose it, but not always fully motivated. I moved down south 2years ago a size 6 some 8's. Which for my height was perfect! I swear one day I woke up & was a size 10/12. And it only got worse. I am even larger now. Even when I was pregnant I have NEVER been this big. Yeah, I'm tall, but I don't like it. It's messing w/ my confidence. I already don't go out --clubs, won't apply for certain jobs, vac/trips. I go outside for regular things I just don't have fun out..when I say I don't go out. Any help would be appreciated..even if I don't like it. I probably need to hear it. Thanx for your time shizz
