I joined SP about a year ago, at the same time as TERRIEJO and I know her from another team we are both on. But I never realized there was a WATP group until today (duuuuh!) I am a great fan of WATP and Leslie Sansone. I started walking with her about 5 years ago after I'd gained 15 pounds. I liked it because, unlike a gym which I could always find some excuse not to get to, there she'd be, every morning when I got up or every evening when I got home from work. I started off with her 1 mile, then graduated to 2, then started some of her other DVDs and now I own about 7 of them and use every one of them.
And I am REALLY grateful to her because a couple of months ago my doc recommended that I have a hysterectomy. Knowing that it was major surgery and knowing that I'd need to go into it healthy and strong, I combined Leslie's Walk Away the Waist/Walk Away the Abs with healthy eating and hiking and the result is that less than 2 weeks post-surgery I have none of that "swelly belly" that they talk about and I am even getting through Leslie's 1-mile routines feeling fine.

Philicia ... to the Walk Away the Pounds team. Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. It's nice to have you with us. I love walking with Leslie too, especially during the winter when it's too cold and snowy to get out much (I live in North Dakota).

Hi i am new to the group but not sparkpeople . i have been here serveral times and left. I am hoping this time is the winner. I love to watps but need to get back in the habbit of doing that. Hope you have all have had a great weekend. I am excited to find this group. Hugs,Philicia

Just wanted to say hello - I joined SparkPeople 3 weeks ago and have been getting back into clean eating and working out with Leslie. I have been enjoying her new "Target" workouts quite a bit and just got Stephanie Huckabee's PowerFit to do as a strength training add-on. I love working out to dvds and mixing it up. I'm shooting for 300 cardio minutes a week and additional time for strength training. Losing weight is hard for me (even when I eat well and the right amount), but I'm in it for the long run, so if it takes more time, so be it!
