Your at the right place. I was in denial for about a year and just to busy to deal with diabetes.. I finally got serious about it. But sounds like you are in a good place. Attitude is half the battle. Good luck to you. Walk Walk Walk that is the best thing you can do for yourself.

I was very upset when I got diagnosed.
I joined every diabetic team I could find.
Got a lot of information.
Bought a book called Diabetes For Dummies, helped me a lot.

Watch your carbs, keep a food log.
I put everything I eat into the Nutritional tracker, really makes me aware of what I'm eating.
Exercise and drink your water everyday.

hi, my name is renee. i had a health screening at work and my bg came back high last week, so i made an appt with my dr for yesterday and the dr confirmed it. i am in shock. im trying to get all the info i can right now. im not sure what else to say right now.
