Hello Renee, welcome to the team! I was very upset when I got diagnosed. I joined every diabetic team I could find. Got a lot of information. Bought a book called Diabetes For Dummies, helped me a lot. If you have any questions please ask. There are some great articles here on Sparks about diabetes. Watch your carbs, keep a food log. I put everything I eat into the Nutritional tracker, really makes me aware of what I'm eating. Exercise and drink your water everyday.
