Welcome to the team!! I think it is said that carb cycling isnt' for those who have a lot of weight to lose b/c you shouldn't be on it for a long period of time.
I think you are in the right mind set of having a 20 lb weight loss goal. That is fantastic! Not many people who have a lot of weight to lose feel this way. Many want to jump in and say I want to lose a lot of weight quick. Which is totally unhealthy.
If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been trying to lose weight? And what have you been doing to lose it? Maybe I can offer some advice.
