When carb cycling, do fresh/frozen fruit carbs need to be limited as well, or can you eat whatever fruit you want. I love to eat mango, strawberries, and watermelon (especially in the summer) but the carb content is really high!! Any suggestions?
I'm not carb cycling yet. Your info is what I was looking for. I'm lifting three to four times a week an runnig three times a week so I need to research how carb cycling will work with that. Then I will need to figure out best carb cycling schedule for my routine.
If you are doing 35% Carbs, 35% protein and 30% fat, how much carbs are you allowing on your lab carb days. What I am doing is 15% carbs, 45% protein and 40% fat on my low carb days (3 consecutive days). On high carb days I eat carbs that is equal to 2- 3 times my weight (onlyone day of a week). For me the hardest part is moderate days, I usually eat 45% carbs, 40% protein and the rest is fat.
I'm interested in trying out this carb cycling. I am presently eating a diet based on a macro ratio of 35 carb, 35 protein and 30 fat. I've been following this calorie intake since beginning of year. I'm now at 10.5% bf and am working to get to 7 %bf. I try to lift upper and lower body twice a week and cardio three times a week. Can you break this carb cycling down for me in macro ratios for low and high carb cycle days?
You and me both. I started on January 2nd... It's not perfect, but it's a start and way better than I was doing!... My job loves to bring treats to work so I have to be prepared so that I don't give in to the sweet treats. My son is diabetic so our home is a safe zone.

JAZZID - thanks for the nutrition plan. I really have to get back on track now that the holiday has passed. I plan to clean out my refrigerator today - throwing away all of the junk that others have brought into my house.
