I found an article about the book Crack The Fat Loss Code. I've ordered the book from Amazon but thought I'd start the program following the article today. Today was my carb down day. I have all my meals all planned for the week and some food cooked for several days.
I've been trying to lose weight off and on for several years. I gained 15 pounds in the last 3 years that will not go away no matter what I do. I'm hoping carb cycling will work to rid me of them.
I've tried everything else with very limited short term success. I can lose a few pounds by counting calories and being really strict with my eating but then it stops. 2 or 3 pounds seems to be the limit and as soon as I go over my calorie range they come right back. Its hard to eat less than 1500 calories a day every single day.

I all! I'm not new to Sparkpeople. Been around awhile. Came across an article on Carb Cycling in Oxygen Magazine and became intrigued. Looked for a SparkTeam to help me along the way. So here I am.
