Well at least you have a history of knowing how to lose the weight. Losing 55 lbs is great. I have lost many pounds over my many years but not always the healthy way of losing. Since I discovered Spark 2.5 years ago I know how to do it the healthy way but sticking to the program is the challenging part. My favorite foods are very much a hurdle. Saw my Dr. yesterday and was told some of my numbers in my blood-work were heading in the wrong direction. I made a commitment to her I will do better.

Hi Chuck.
Thank you for your reply. I am sure I can do this, a few years back I lost 55 pounds on my own but unfortunaltely I got very ill and went off my diet and exercise program. This time I am determined to make a total change in lifestyle. I have a Dr that gives me a talking to if I lose to fast. He prefers 1 pound a week, I have my goal set a lil higher than what he would like but its okay. As he says...I didn't put it all on in 1 year and if it takes even a few years, I am going down...not up ech year! I see you have lost alot...thats so awesome, keep up the great work.

Welcome to the team. Sounds like you have given yourself a reasonable time limit to reach your 78 lb goal. It will be hard work but the benefits will be multiple. For myself I have to log all my food and exercise. As long as I am consistent I will reach my goals. At time where I am not consistent I gain the weigh back.

Hi my name is Cosmina (pronounced Koze Meena), I live in Salem Oregon. I am starting with a goal to lose 78 pounds by May 2013 at which time I will attend our granddaughters wedding. I am very embarrassed of my weight, always looking around to see if I am the fattest in a room. I am 55 and have decided to change my lifestyle. All my friends have had bariatric surgery and are now little. Due to a dangerous blood disorder, weight loss surgery is not an option for me. So I guess it up to desire, education, will power and change. I can do this, I know I can.
