Spark People can be overwhelming at first and then it gets better. there's great tools to help you like the food tracker and fitness minutes tracker.

Welcome to the group. I have been with Spark over 2 years and found planning my meals are a lot less spendy. I generally eat very well and like you say, "the pie charts" helps keep m in line. After you enter your nutrition it also gives you a spread sheet of your nutrients to see where you fall according to what you have set up.. I have found that my food budget has gone down substantially since I prepare the majority of my own meals.

Hi, My name is Fred. My daughter told me about Sparkpeople. I have been doing Weight Watchers but it is spendy. I am just learning this and I think that I like it, especially the pie charts showing how good or bad I did for the day. I live in Milton-Freewater if there is anyone else on here from there.
