Welcome to the group. I hear you about this infernal rain, especially this month. With a little searching through this website you can find plenty of exercises, cardio and strength, that will only require standing room. As for some of your health issues you will find that exercise will sometimes substantially reduce the pain. Many article on this subject. As for taking Vitamin D you need to be careful because it can be toxic. I take it myself but stay within the recommended amounts. My wife has to take 1000 IU because hers was to low, but that will be only temporary.
Good luck on your healthy journey. Being consistent is the key. Consistency in logging in all your food and fitness is essential to losing weight and getting fit. I would suggest getting in the habit of logging into SparkPeople everyday and go to the "SparkPoints" page and try to complete every line. It will help train yourself with being consistent.
