Welcome to Spark People and the Oregon team. I have lost 50 pounds. The best advice I can share is to get on line daily for at least ten minutes and explore the site. It helps to keep the healthy living goal in the front of your mind. It is especially a good thing to do if you are craving something not healthy. I have to limit my time here to under two hours, because it can be quite addicting and that is counter productive, when I should be exercising. Best wishes for your health and wellness journey.

Hi I'm new to sparkpeople. I am a single parent and a college student and I didn't really prioritize my weight during the last few years... gaining about a hundred pounds so far...... I'm hoping that I can finally get serious about my weight loss and keep myself motivated enough to have some real results... My overall goal is to lose between 100-140 pounds by June of next year...
