Okay, at the top of this page in orange on the left hand side, you will see "My Trackers" Click and scroll to "Start". Click. That is your home page. you may be that far already. On the left hand side you will see three tracker buttons. One is for exercise. Explore that for awhile and see what you think.
Regarding the ticker, do you have a Spark Page all decorated? Your page is set to private, so I can't tell. If your Spark Page is set up, go to "edit my page" on the upper right hand side. Scroll right down the middle of the page and just after teams and before comments, there should be and "Edit my Ticker" button. Click on this and explore. If you are past this step, let me know. Here is the "Help" link..... www.sparkpeople.com/community/help_a ns wer.asp?id=33 also if you go to the top middle right of this page you will see a small "help" button. That will take you to all kinds of tutorials. Best of luck.
thanks. Im into the visual tracking methods. Do they have a tracker thing for mileages that show a visual chart for walking exercising n that? Also the ticker? it wont let me do it cuz it wants the weight then i have it in and then it just goes back to it when i save. not sure what im doing wrong. so far the only thing i have down is the food intake tracker. I keep losing my page too. which one do you click on for that. how do you connect with friends? thanks sorry for all the questions.
I have been on SP for four years and still have not learned everything or seen everything. I make sure to log on for ten minutes everyday to connect and keep my head focused on good health. It also is a nice distraction for when I am craving something, I don't need to eat.
Give yourself permission to discover everything slowly. Many people who are used to Facebook or My Space have difficulty with the format. But since I started with this site, it is my favorite. I also like that it is all about health and positive thinking and acting.
It has been awhile since I have messed with my ticker, but if you don't figure it out over your next break, I will hunt for a tutorial link for you. Just let me know.
No I never watch tv. I just work gravyard shift. So the name fits. I am still trying to figure out everything on here. tried to make a ticker today but it wanted me to enter weight. I did but then it didnt save my ticker stuff I had entered. i went beck n forth with that about 3 times and had to log off cuz i ran out of my break. So Im sure its just somthing im not doing. I tried save but it just went back to the weight thing. The weight saved but? still workin on that.
