I'm not in your area. I live In Oregon City. I ahve Diabetes, too and ahve lsot over 80 pounds with SP and am 12 pounds away from my oal.

I used to think it was Sugar and all sweets that made my diabetes bad but i was so wrong. I ahve learned the carbs bring the numbers up.
the key to losing weight is raise your protein, lower carbs and water, water, water along with exercise.
Cut down on white potatoes, breads, cereals, pasta and rice and You can do it. Good luck to you.
