Hi my name is Hollie and I am 28, married to my husband for 11 1/2 years and have a wonderful 10 year old son! I was very fit (used to figure skate) until I had my son by cesarean section on Halloween 2001. After I stopped breastfeeding 2 months later, I literally gained 40 pounds in 3 months and all my periods stopped. Thats when I went to the dr and found out I had a thyroid problem. I am currently on 75mg and feel fine however I have been working out very hard and eating between 1200-1500 calories (watching carbs, high protein etc) and the scale hasnt budged. I started at 241 went up to 243 the first week and now back down to 241. I currently do the EA Sports Active on PS3 since I work from home doing childcare and extended hours (24/7 between my husband and I). I do a morning workout, sometimes an afternoon, and an evening....not including all the working out taking care of kids and keeping up with them......has anyone had similar issues, any suggestions to help kick start this progress! I do however feel stronger as I could barely do 1 pushup on my knees on day 1 and now doing between 30-40 a day no problem!
