30 minutes is a great way to start! I did the 8 minute January SP Challenge video and then 30 minutes of yoga. Since it isn't raining here today (!!!!), I'm going to try to convince the hubs and the kids to go out for a walk with me!
I am turning 41 this week. I feel like I am 80. My body is screaming at me to shed this excess weight and start living. It's not about looking great in fashionable clothes, though I will surely enjoy that too, it is about keeping up with an active 9 year old. He wants to learn to snow ski, I think oh man my knees and ankles. He wants to go to Disneyland, I think will I fit comfortably on the rides, he wants to go to water parks, I cringe at the idea of wearing a swim suit. my weight is not just affecting me, it is affecting him and our livability as a family. I also see him adopting my poor eating habits and starting to gain weight himself and that is my worst nightmare come true. I have to set and live the example. I have to make healthier eating choices and move more. I have battled weight issues all my life and lived on both extremes but never at a healthy medium and it is time to set that as my goal. I have 82 pounds to loose, a lot but it is not impossible. I want to move at least 10 min every day. I want to stop relying on fast food, and I want start living! I appreciate any help and support you all can give. Good luck to us all in the new year!
