Welcome to the team. Ballet is so beautiful. I went to one ballet class and besides not being able to afford taking more lessons, I was totally exhausted and I was in pretty good shape at the time. I can't think of anything that would contribute more to your health, grace and well being than ballet. Go for it.

Hello! My name is Lisa and I am returning to Sparkpeople after a long absence, ready to re-establish some goals and enjoy living a life that is healthier than the one I am living now. I am a 20-something office worker from around Portland, OR. However, I have aspirations beyond the cubicle (notably a to one day be a marathon runner and dedicate myself to be a serious, albeit amateur, ballet dancer). I have had a tendency to drift from my goals in the past, but I want this time to be different. I want to see my goals through and then continue living well even after I achieve my initial goals.
