I ran Hood to Coast in 2009. I was never a runner or even an "active" person really before the relay. It took every ounce of strength and determination I had to get through it, and afterwards I swore I would never run again! After the soreness wore off I found myself craving a run. Since then I have been trying to train my body to be a runner, unfortunately, chronic tendenis in my left achilles and being born with weak knees my body doesn't always agree to a nice stroll. So I have picked up other techniques of working out to help strenghten my legs and knees and get into good enough shape to run a 5k or 10k none stop. I can run, walk, jog it now but want to be able to maintain a steady pass throughout. Currently looking for workout partner in the area :D Very outdoorsy and live in the Sandy-Gresham area. Thanks for the invite and look forward to catching up with people and fellow hard workers!
