Welcome Crystal to the team. Losing weight is a process for me. It is all about changing old habits and replacing them with new healthier habits. I have changed many of the bad choices in food and have found I still have to eat more than I thought. I have never gone hungry, I exercise regularly. I have been on my own program, using the tools of SparkPeople, for a year now and have lost 65 lbs. This is the longest I have ever stayed on a diet and fitness program. Thanks to Spark I have a great foundation to build a healthier life for myself.
If I can do this in my senior years, I know you can do it. Consistency is the key My consistency is logging in all my food and fitness. If I stray from logging either I see the weight start stalling or start to inch up. Logging keeps me accountable and I think it is something I will do the rest of my life.
