Welcome to Sparks and also Welcome home again.
Good for you starting in while you are young, it is much easier that way.
Good Luck to You.
Rosalyn Larson I am so happy to be on Maintenance.
It took 2 years but it was worth it. I am going to keep it in a 5#s range up or down. My Promise is I will never ever do that to myself again-----Rosalyn

I'm Shelli. I'm a native Oregonian but transplanted for the next year or so to the Illawarra Coast in NSW, Australia. Then we get to come home...yay! (Not that it's bad here, but Christmas in 100 degree heat is just too much to get used to :) ) We'll be living in the Willamette Valley when we move back.
I am 46, have two kids of my own and two stepdaughters. All teenagers! Overweight runs in our family. Overweight AND ill-health especially on my fathers' side. I don't want to be there in 20 years' time! He was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and it was the kick start I need to get a program going again. We don't have two cars so I walk just about everywhere I go, and we don't eat a lot of fast food due to cost - and I am a fanatic about cooking from scratch with lots of fruits and veggies. The trouble is I need more excersise and less of the good food! I am looking forward to motivation, help and support.
