WELCOME to the team of Oregonians.

Hey my friend I know exactly how you feel right now, I was there in exactly the same place.
I knew I was getting fat and I finally took the courage to get on the scale and I was so shocked to see my weight, I broke down and cried.
I read on that darn scale that I was 194#, that was such a bad shock. I thought how could I let myself get to such a terrible weight.

Today I am now down to 148#.
Yahoo!!!!!!!
IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN AS WELL!!!!!!

Now another word of wisdom.
It has taken me about 2 - 3 years to do it, but it has been well worth it.
So DO NOT GET IN A HURRY.
The slower it comes off the better, at least you have a better chance to keep it off.

I still want to loose another 8# but I am doing maintaining for a little while, then I will try to get that off. The last few #s are always the hardest.

Good Luck and my Motto is NEVER GIVE UP EVEN AFTER YOU REACH YOUR GOAL!!!

emoticon We have a book The Spark by Chris Downie it will be right there for you it has recipes, motation, exercises, he wrote it to really help you get going be sure to come here too.. emoticon

Hi, my name is Crystal. I have lost weight before but gained almost all of it back after I had my third and last child. I am 25 and push 200 pounds. I can actually cry now because I just typed that in and it sounds awful. However, I choose to get healthy for me my husband and my kids, but mostly for me. Wish my luck!
