Welcome to the Oregon Team. I love long posts. You really get better acquainted more quickly. This site is a lot of fun. You will be able to find many teams with similar interests as yours. The nutrition tracker is very helpful. What part of the state are you from? I live north of Portland.

Hi, my name is Kathryn. I am excited to find this resource that will help me stay on track and achieve my goals of weight loss and fitness. I just came across it by looking up a quote someone mentioned on the Dave Ramsey radio - program, as one that helped her keep on target with her weight management and or loss. It was, "We cannot become what we need by remaining what we are." -Max Dupree

I have been working out with weights for the past two years and I usually walk a minimum of three days per week, but I want to increase my training. I love Jack LaLanne-- and have found inspiration in many of his encouraging words from his past shows... One of his quotes: "Make up your mind you are going to win today's battle."

I am pretty active and I even do English Country Dancing once a week. But even with all I do, I can't seem to get my
weight down further. So I am needing some coaching, awareness and some strategies for keeping track of how i am going about my efforts so I can maximize the benefits.

I am a wife, a mother of 4 grown kids, a gardener, and I enjoy classical music. I care for my aging mother who refuses to go to physical therapy and her lack of exercise and health issues have kept her from living a good life that I know is possible.

I look forward to getting acquainted with you too. I hope I haven't written too much for my intro.
Hello to all of you who are "Sparkies"; I have the greatest respect for what you have been doing, are doing and
the encouragement you give to others by your example. I am so delighted to have found this site!

~Kathryn

It is never too late to make health better! You can do it!
