Welcome to SP. There are some great recipes on this site. Most of them are easily modified for your tastes. As long as you do not ad oils or meats they are usually low calorie. I would also take a look at the exercise suggestions on this site. Many of them can be done while sitting down or lying on a bed or floor. There is a way for anyone to exercise. Explore this site well as there are lots of tools you can use. Good luck with your new project.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

I just joined this site about 10min.ago,found it accidently on another(kraft)site,and so far so good! I hope to lose some weight and get some good receipes for losing weight. I do love to cook but hubby is trying to lose weight also so he just eats less than he used to and we both are trying to lose weight by just eating less no exercise,he can't because of health problems but Ican but have gotten very lazy in the last several years,and don't like to exercise.I will start walking again today. Hope to meet others like me on this site. Claylady001
