Hi Jill, Yes, Wilsonville has grown a lot since years past. I have been to Vancouver and Victoria and both are just as pretty. We at least share the same corner of the world and it is all quite beautiful. It sounds like you have some healthy meals planned. My husband and I are headed out to the golfing range. I am trying to get the hang of it but having trouble. I suffer from sinusitus as well so know how that can be. Enjoy your beautiful weather and hope those allergies don't continue to get the best of you. And Happy Canada Day!

Hi Gem in Wilsonville, and all my other Oregon Spark friends!
I'm in BC Canada, but my heart is still in Oregon!
My sister and Mom live in the Wilsonville area. We all lived in Lake Oswego while growing up and Wilsonville has GROWN ... the fastest growning town in the NW!!
Today we have a beatiful day in BC too... I'm just getting my house in order... stayed home from Church because of a raging headache, followed by sore throat and now just stuffiness... Sinus allergies for sure! When the weather changes, it hits me... I should be a weather forcaster!
LOL
Later I'm going to be painting an exterior sign post and boards for the Cottage where I paint with friends on Tuesdays. July 1st is Canada Day, and this weekend are many celebrations around town. 15 miles from town in either direction, I don't know if I will venture out unless I am feeling better, but I can at least enjoy the sunshine in my 1/2 acre backyard.
Life is good!
EARLY Breakfast was Raisin Bran w/ Soy and Splenda. Mid morning break was Banana w/ T of Peanutbutter.

Lunch is far away but will have raw veggies and low cal Ranch Dressing, plus Watermelon and Cantelope.

Dinner is BBQ Chicken and Salad.

I actually have been a member for a while but just now have really gotten on and trying to learn my way around. There is sooo much going on. I love exploring the beautiful northwest. I enjoy training and competing in local runs and triathlons. My husband and I moved here in 1974 from Peoria, Il and fell in love with the area. We have lived all along I 5 from Cedar Hills area, Eugene and Grants Pass but have been here in Wilsonville for the past 15 years and really like the area. We have raised two children we are very proud of. A daughter 26 and a son 22. And have had an assortment of pets. Our current pets are Porter our 2-1/2 year old rescued black lab mix and Cliffy our rescued canary (he showed up in our garage - no one claimed him) Sparks people looks like a great community!
