As has been said, you want to do your Page to get the Tickers and pictures but what ever you do, don't set it to Private or Off Line. Off Line, no one can even send you a Spark Mail, Private, we can do that but not visit your Page and leav a comment or goodie and we love to do both.

Use your Spark Points page as your daily map until you get things down pat. Besides, you collect points that are used for goodie giving.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

Welcome to Spark
The other Gals have covered starting with the Spark Page, but 1st go to other peoples spark pages to give yourself an idea of what to do.
Also make sure you start your note book putting every morsel you put in your mouth in the note book.
Keeping a good track of your food I think is the best way to loose weight.

And if you get hungry between meals have some sugarless candy around the house or some cut up vegies in the fridge.

Hi jessica and welcome.

To add your weight ticker on the bottom go to your page and lick on Edit my spark page. Then scroll way down where it has ticker background and ticker icon and find one you like and click Save changes on bottom. to add our weight on top of your spark apge click "Start" and a drop down appears click on weigh in and add your stats and "save changes".

You will learn a lot as you move along.

Hi Jessica and welcome!

I would suggest you decide where your priorities are - diet or exercise? Then start tracking either your food - every bite! - or your exercise - all day! Eventually you will add the other one, and many teams, and gain friends, and on and on.

The tracker is added when you put together you SparkPage. At the bottom of the page you get to set it up (total pounds lost vs. actual weight) and the tracker and icon.

I would say start with your SparkPage first, then either exercise or diet tracking. Join a few teams (like two or three) and get involved.

Hi my name is Jessica. A coworker had told me about spark people and I decided to check it out. I am excited to have a free way to get the same type of support that I did in WW.

I am however, a little overwhelmed by the pages and really not sure where to start. Anyone have a few guiding tips? Also, where are those great weight trackers at the bottom of your posts?
