I would suggest you decide where your priorities are - diet or exercise? Then start tracking either your food - every bite! - or your exercise - all day! Eventually you will add the other one, and many teams, and gain friends, and on and on.
The tracker is added when you put together you SparkPage. At the bottom of the page you get to set it up (total pounds lost vs. actual weight) and the tracker and icon.
I would say start with your SparkPage first, then either exercise or diet tracking. Join a few teams (like two or three) and get involved.
