You should expect to be welcomed at the weigh in desk by a smiling friendly receptionist who will weigh you and record your weight confidentially. As a receptionist, I learned that what a priest once told me about hearing confession was quite true ... when the person leaves, you pretty much forget about it. I never remembered anyone's weight. Besides, that receptionist was once on your side of the table so she/he knows exactly where you are.
The leader will conduct the meeting and talk about a subject given out by Weight Watcher (Inc) for discussion this week. She will also try to get you to purchase Weight Watcher products like bars and stuff, but as I am no longer an employee, I will tell you ... that's a fool's game. The stuff is expensive and similar products can be gotten at the supermarket. The food scale is a very good one, but you can one that is quite adequate at Bed Bath & Beyond for much less.
