Those night eats are the worst, I know. It may help you to drink water at night when you want to eat. At first it will cause you to get up at night but eventually your body will get use to it. At least mine did. Get those 'healthy' snacks, grapes, carrots, etc. Use the nutrition tab to find suggestions. Mom may not be willing to give up her 'snack' but it is worth a shot. If you get your own food, then find something you can eat later in the day that will fill you up for longer into the night. If you eat at night from boredom then consider changes your schedule. what is the trigger for your eating? That will help. Remember you are not on a diet, you are making lifestyle changes, don't set yourself up to fail. Do what you like not what you can tolerate. sorry this is so long, hope it helps.
