Welcome to the team! To be honest, I don't eat a lot of grains either. I get most of my carbs from the fruit and veggies that I eat. I am gluten sensitive and the gluten free stuff just isn't the same. I eat so much protein and veggies. I do try to throw in beans or something like that each day too. Great job at your 50 pounds lost!

I'm new to the team, but not new to Sparkpeople. I've been using Spark on and off for about 4 years. Moved back to Minnesota about 2 years ago from Alaska. Just never took the time to find a Minnesota team. I've lost 50 pounds doing a low carb diet. I am climbing my way back up the carb ladder now that I am approaching my goal. I am up to 40 carbs and have added back some fruit and nuts. I love low carb eating...never hungry, have always liked meat and cheese and I am eating more vegetables than I ever have in my life. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
