I love this website also. Lately I was in a bit of a slump, but I think I am working my way out. Looks like I might be headed for another thyroid cancer treatment so I need to get mentally prepared. The friends and support here help tremendously. emoticon

Started SP 3/7/06 @ 245.4 lost some gained some. I am currently 259.

Hi I've been here in SP for a few years, yes years. I started out doing very well losing weight and following their food plan. Somewhere along the way I gained most of it back due to what I just realized was a food disorder. I joined OA in November 2009, attend meetings, call my food in to a sponsor, work the 12 steps and still come in here to track my food and exercises. I am now on the road to recovery and have not binged for 4 months. Now my plan is to change the high blood pressure and cholesterol numbers...lowering them to the point where I might not have to take as many meds. I'll be joining medicare on June 1st, and with the list of drugs I take, I'm embarrassed to even hand them my list. So, I need to get on track and find a way to lower my numbers. It's good to join a team where we can
support each other this way.

All things are possible with God.
