Hello: I am Annie from NJ. Not new to spark people but new to counting calories. I was eatting up to 1000 a day and then my endocrinologist told me i should eat 1500 to lost weight. She said my bodies metabolism would slow down and I wouldnt lose if i continued on a 1000 cal day diet.
Anyway... I am trying for 1200 now and hopefully this will leave room for slips. That my plan hehe

Thanks Amy. I'm trying to stick to around 1100. I start my day with 1/2 slice of wheat bread with smart balance spread and a scrambled egg white cooked in non-stick spray. I try to stay off salt as well. I blow up with that. I keep 100 cal snacks in the house and try to count every cal I put in my mouth. I'll pray you do well.

Hi Lord lover...my doctor originally put me on a 1200 that is why I started this group. I usually had an english muffin and a piece of fruit in the am, a frozen entree in the pm no more than 250-300 calories, some fruit in the aft and whatever is left in the pm. The frozen entrees really help when you are first starting. Let me know how you are doing. I usually kept mine around 13-1400 calories. Also you might like to check any meds you are on..I have recently been changed to a med that has a side affect of weight loss instead of weight gain and I have already lost around 7 pounds and its only been a few days since I left the hospital (I was in the hospital last week for 3 days). Hi my name is amy. I noticed your message here(I havent been around too much in the last month and a half) What is this diet you are on..would love to hear more about it. Myself the doctor put me on 1200 cal but I am always curious what other people are following. Blessings on your goals.
I have about 145# to lose and am on the original Cambridge GreySheet Food Plan, the one without grains. Would love to buddy up with someone with also doing Greysheet with they would like. Would also love to give and get moral support and motivation.
