I started training beginning of March at 29% body fat and I'll be stepping on the Tampa Stage for my first Figure in less than 4 weeks and expect to be somewhere between 11-13% body fat. It's been really hard work, but it feels so good to know you have that kind of discipline that most won't! Are you in Tampa and if so, are you looking at the Hurricane Bay event? Also, congrats on quitting smoking, that's a big deal! - Tia

hi my name is sharon im new to the whole work out world--iam 5 foot 8 and will be 40 in september 4 weeks ago i started training with a persolal trainer 3 days a week for 1 hour and cardio 5-6 days a week cardio-30 min to 1 hour--i weighed 152 at 25% body fat--yuck!! so 4 weeks into it im 148 at 24% body fat-i also quit smoking and drinking the same day i signed with her- i smoked for 25 years- i havent even cheated not once-my trainer did her first figure show in tampa and placed 2nd-- we talked she wants me to do a show--id love too--next one is in mid october--can an out of shape person really be prepared by october to compete that is my goal or to train and go thru all the motions til same day of comp and just not actually follow thru ( i have some deep stretch marks on my stomach bikini wont look good--am considering having them surgically removed this year i need help with diet also --the right combos to eat i am excited to join this group i hope i learn and i hope im in the right group
