I am not going to actually compete yet because I want a year to get my legs into the shape I feel comfy getting on stage with and my braces off, but I've been doing a cutting diet for the past 12 weeks in prep for a correction to cosmetic surgery I had a year ago. In those 12 weeks I have dropped from 18.42% body fat to about 13% body fat. The last 3 weeks I'd imagine I'll drop another 3% or so. You can take a look at my pics to get an idea of my progress and what this looks like. Might help you in some way.

You are looking at roughly 8 weeks. Depending on what bodyfat you want to compete at will tell the story. A great many competitors are going leaner and leaner and certainly 9% bodyfat is becoming a norm. So if you look at getting down to somewhere between 9-12% bodyfat to be comp ready - so you have between 13-16% to lose in 8 weeks. At a max you could be looking at losing around 21# which would put you at 2.5#/week. This is doable if you can consistently lose that steadily but if you plateau or don't keep up with that number 8 weeks is very tight. If you doing your own nutrition that could be a huge issue too.

It seriously comes down to how you want to get to the stage - you either don't mind either way just to have the experience or you want to look great. This is your choice to make. It is alot of time, money etc to invest and be really unhappy about how you look as compared to the other competitors. You want to feel great when you do these shows and you just have to decide if you think you can reasonably be ready by June 12th. I kind of layed out the above just to give you some idea (not exact) of what would need to happen with your numbers in order to be ready for June 12.

Go ahead and order your suit so you can get comfortable in it and start posing away!!!!

So the beginning of March, my trainer thought it would great for me to do a Figure Competition (was a goal of mine for later in the year). The competition she picked is June 12th. Currently my body fat is at 25% (using the Omron digital) and my weight is around 135 lbs. I'm 5'3" and my chest is 35", waist is 27" and hips are 38". I do 3-4 days of heavy strength and 5 days of HIIT 30 min cardio. Been sticking with my meal plan and having one cheat meal a week. With this said, is it really reasonable that I could be ready to get on stage in 60 days??? I love my trainer but wonder if she's being overambitious.
