Not yet....going on 2 weeks of me sleeping in the tack room! Since she is officially not due for another month, every day makes me breathe a little easier!

Did your mare have her foal yet? Was it a buckskin?

I wish you the best of luck in your contest--you look great, so I can't wait to hear how you do! I am also a horse person. In fact, I am going out to check on my very pregnant mare who is due imminently! Hoping for a buckskin....

Where is your next competition? I'll be rooting for you! Who does your posing suits? I guess it is just a 2 piece now for amateurs....I have not competed since 2007, when I did the Masters Nationals. I really lost my momentum this past year, but had been training hard for 3 straight years. Oh well...I'm getting back into the routine, thankfully! Finding "Sparkpeople" is a godsend! I live out on a ranch--pretty remote. Never see a soul unless I go to the gym! Susan

Welcome S Streaker! Glad to have you here. I lost 40# in 2008 and so far kept it off. I am 5 week out until my next figure contest.

Your welcome I am surely done with the competing, let the young ones do it. But to maintain a great physique and to continue to be strong and healthy is exactly what you want to do. So we are behind you all the way - get the plan in place and just make it happen!!!

Thanks for the kind words--you look GREAT, btw! I may compete again, but my primary goal is to get back my athletic ability. I ride horses, snowboard, rock climb, salsa dance...all of these things were a lot more fun when I was super-fit. Plus I reaaalllllyy miss looking awesome....

Hello,
I am a former figure competitor. In 2007 I was 4th in my over 35 class at the Masters Nationals (at 52). Now I am 50 pounds overweight--a very sad state of affairs! I lost my consistency somehow and it's time to get it back. I quit going to the gym--stopped eating right, and I feel pretty terrible as a result! I just found out about SparkPeople --bought the book yesterday, and decided to join today, as everyone seems so supportive...
