Love it but have some short term goals and I can't think of a better way than joining this team ............. for the joint inspiration and accountability. I do LOTS of walking at my job but am going to increase my activity by setting apart additional time (usually before work) .......... Coming to log in daily activity really bolsters oneself to 'get it done' .......... (like the water)

Don't exercise every day.........yet. New goal for next week. But, I have been walking every second day. Getting in between 7000 and tonight just over 11000 steps. That was a 9.6 km walk! Feeling good. Oh, and in 90 mins.
Anything is possible--except skiing through a revolving door.

Hi, I'm Gini. Today is day 1 of my streak and committing to 10 minutes of fitness every day. I use a walker and sometimes I choose chair exercise. I find the winter the most difficult for me but if I get a good streak going now, I won't want to break it as the weather turns colder. Wish me healthy days!

I now have a 9 day streak of checking in with SparkPeople and tracking my food. AND I have done an average of 30 minutes of exercise every day. Mostly walking. Today, it is raining, so I am about to do a 30 minute video - low impact aerobics. I'll hold some light weights for some strength training while I am at it.

Welcome aboard Susie! Dont worry we all generally do way more than 10 minutes a day. The core focus is that we must, at the very least, do 10 mins everyday. The philosophy is that u maintain a streak/record - " I've exercised (minimum) 10 mins a day, EVERYDAY for the past XYZ days" and after a while once u cross a decent number of days (XYZ could be 100 or 1000 or anynumber that feels like an achievement), u never wanna break that streak/record coz you will have to start from scratch, from 1... so u make sure u squeeze in 10 mins everyday no matter what... and we all know that once we start exercising, we do end up doing at least 30 mins at least...
