Welcome and so sorry to hear of your circumstances. I hope that his leaving will make room in your life for all of the blessings that you and your girls deserve. You deserve to take exquisite care of yourself and you can learn to do so here at Spark!

You have not set up a Spark Page (or if you have it is not showing on your post) so please do that ASAP. Our Spark Pages are our "Homes" where we go to visit friends.

Here is my standard advice to "newbies"....

One thing I would suggest is: Keep collecting Spark Friends like candy!! It is calorie free and they always give you something to "chew on"!!

You can just "friend" need to ask. We are friendly and don't bite!

You can find motivation and inspiration from everyone here, even those that are struggling (because you know how they feel!!) Welcome new people, Join teams, blog, join challenges, blog, be excited, blog. And did I mention: blog? The future fabulous you will want to look back at your journey and will want to encourage others!! When the excitement wanes (it WILL!!) put down your pom poms and "Power Pose" in the background, (but don't leave and don't do too much damage) and wait for the tide to turn...pick up your oars and keep rowing.

last year my husband of 17 years walked out on me and my girls. he blamed me for everything, when i know there is/was someone else. he has made this very hard especially with his hatfullness, rudeness, name calling and insults. in this time i have probably gained about 30 lbs and the divorce isn't final. i am beginning to come to terms witht he divorce especially with his attitude change and he has compeletly went bonkers. my goal or saying for 2014 is 40 @ 40. i will turn 40 this year and i want to lose 40 lbs. also 2014 is MY year.
just needing a lot of inspiration and help.
