Hi: I'm Norma Jean and I am new to SparkPeople and SparkGuy's 10 minute Fitness Club since Oct 5, 2013. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and this club will motivate me. I have been told that a minimum of by 20 minutes is required to make a difference. It makes sense that 10 minutes is better than 0 minutes. Thanks for the inspiration to end using my threadmill as` a clothes rack!!
I also enrolled in an aerobics arthritis class at my local YMCA. First class next week.
I finally received my pedometer yesterday afternoon. I was able to track a full day today. I see I have to do double the 'steps' in the future to meet my goal. I've learned years ago not to over do it. I'll get there with determination and dedication.
