I stopped running for a while, and the worst part was being patient when I wanted to start again. Don't try to do too much and accept the fact that you'll need to start with walking and walk/jog intervals. Hang in there and it'll all come back... just not in a week.
Hello! I'm a working mom of two who has been overweight for about 15 years now. About three years ago, I began running again (as well as strength training, biking, and swimming) and have since run many 5ks, a couple 10ks and a couple triathlons. At the end of last Autumn, I stopped running (not really sure why) and haven't gone back since.
I recently joined this forum to perhaps find the motivation to get into some sort of fitness (running or otherwise) again. I hope to share a successful journey with you! Cheers!
