I just started on Sparkpeople the other day. Still checking out all the things that are on this. Anyway, I've been battling my body and it's weight my entire life. I have finally gotten to an agreeable weight (just not how it is proportioned). It has taken a LONG time to get there. My concerns now are my over all health and fitness, and finally toning up the areas that aren't so great. I exercise a lot but am not seeing the results I want so....

My daughters (8 & 11) and I are working on eating more organic foods. I've been doing tons of reading about what to eat and how much, exercise and am totally confused. Especially the carbs and protein thing. Anyway, this is all very cool and I'm having fun on here and hope to find/figure out everything I'm looking for.

By the way, I've been on a specific mission since March. My boyfriend and I are going to Belize in July so......yep bikini...yikes!
