Funny that my user i.d. is a food reference - my nickname that has stuck since freshman year at Oregon State - good reminder though that I need to become mindful of what I'm eating and when. Very stressful year behind me - turning another year older in 4 days and am happy that I've made my own personal commitment to "ME"! Indeed it's a New Year and along with that will be a New Me! emoticon

you can do it MADISON ! Fill out your profile, set goals, check in often. This website does work if you put forth the effort. Just show up! join a group or 2 and pick a workout program or activity.

Accountability is a powerful tool, I really enjoy helping others meet & exceed there fitness goals. So, if you want or need any help, advice I'm here! So are many others here on Sparkpeople.
I hope to see ya here alot and remember....YOU CAN DO IT!

hi I'm Martay From chicago IL and I wanted to say that it takes guts to teel it like it is..to put yourself out there for strangers and the world too see! Welcome to the club!

Regardless if your a man or woman...young or old..thin or fat..fit or not we all have $h*t days/weeks and well, life happens! This site is a great place to help you with your weight loss & overall health & fitness goals. I've seen it time n again.

It's easy to fall of the wagon ( of healthy eating & working out)esp. when your doing it alone with little or no help or support!

3 keys to a happier, healthier and long lasting fit body is 1. Fitness ( workout/exercise routines) 2. Nutrition ( your food , drink, supplements etc) 3. Support

Support is key! when you know you have others in your corner, pulling for you n checking on you. When you set goals and make yourself accountable...GREAT things can happen!

Stick with it...if you need ANY help, I'm here I'm a trainer. I will help anyone that wants or needs it.

Lots of good & knowledgable folks here too!

I joined SparkPeople a year ago but did not take it seriously. A lot has happened over the course of 2011 and I have decided to make some changes. Managing my health with conviction is one of them. I never post on anything so I thought I would try something different.
