My trick is having a calendar on my frig and I color the days I've worked out with a blue marker. It's a good feeling to see the sheets mostly blue.

But there are days I have a mental talk with myself to get me going.

One day at a time.

Make an appointment with yourself. It is only 10 minutes. Don't look at it as a chore but as an adventure. If you keep a positive outlook about it you will have a positive opinion about it.

I hope you can keep it up. I'm starting over for the second time and trying to keep the habit. They say anything done for 28 days becomes habit, so-here's to us!!!! emoticon

I've been with Sparks since May but have this on again/off again relationship with exercise even though I know how much it personally benefits me. I have such a hard time just getting started...just keep putting it off. I'm hoping that if I make it a necessary part of everyday (even just 10 minutes) I'll develop some kind of an enduring habit. Last night I put it off until bedtime - thank goodness it was only 10 minutes. emoticon
It's made me want to be sure to fit it in earlier today.
Wish me luck!!
