Hello Gill, and welcome!
For me, portion control helps me tremendously. I also limit eating sweets, except on the weekend. I find that it gets me in the habit of avoiding, and even on the weekend sometimes I will skip it! Then a regular exercise program helps get the weight off... plus it will give you energy! My favorite exercise is walking, but the weather is very hot right now where I live, and I substitute an exercycle, and bowflex every other day.

Hi there! Im Brenda! If you want to lose weight you came to the right place! Follow the advice...use the trackers religiously and stay involved with the other members is my best advice! Im down about 45 pounds in the past 6 months! Never felt better! Also im more active with my family and feel much closer to them! I have two boys ages 8 & 10!

Good morning everyone, I'd like to say hi to everyone and introduce myself a little.
My name is Gill. I'm married with gorgeous twin boys aged 3. I have had crohns for 12 years and following surgery not long after diagnosis I have been ok except I can not lose weight to save my life. I have tried all the usual diets but I seem to gain weight rather than lose it!

I've got about 5 stones to lose and would like to be happy (about my weight- my life in general is fine) and slim for the first time in my life.

I'd love to hear from anyone for some support or advice and I'm always happy to help anyone wanting some advice back
