Hello everyone, I am relatively new to SP. I joined maybe about a month ago. I tracked for a couple days but then lost interest. I have decided to give it another go & since I find having Crohn's is my biggest obsticle (next to getting off my lazy butt!) I thought I should join this team to see if I can find some tips on how to eat healthy while living with Crohn's.

I was diagnosed almost 6 years ago, but luckily enough, since my first round of prednisone I have not had many issues. I would eat pretty much what I wanted and dealt with the flare ups as they occurred. As I am getting older I have found that the flare ups become more severe. I recently moved & now have a new specialist who has put me through the whole series of tests again. I am now on Azathioprine & well as a multivitamin. I just got back from an appt with my GP who suggested I lose some weight (since I gained 12lbs since I saw her last a year ago!) and when I explained my battle with eating vs. crohns she suggested I see a nutritionist. Now I am just waiting for an appointment. I can't believe it's been 6yrs since I've been diagnosed & I am JUST seeing a nutritionist now! Oh well, better late than never!!

Sorry for the novel!
I look forward to discussions with you all!
