The other team captain is busy with other teams I dont pretend to be as good as she was but I do have the disease and this is my second flareup. Just got out of the hospital last week. I do know we get through this by sticking together and talk about what foods hurt us and then eventually the flareups get less and less.
Please feel free to introduce topics, recipes that work for you, concerns, I am open to anything.

I was diagnosed with Divertic in 2009 when it caused a rupture in my intestines. It has been a long and slow healing process. Now starting to get flare ups again. What makes this even harder is I just relocated back to my home town after being gone for ten years and I know nothing about the doctors up here.
I was really glad to find this group. I have been on other diet/lifestyle web sites and no one talks about divertic. Other digestive problems are all over the place but divertic is not. Thank you all for being here.
