see the chat thread for the dentist update.

I am going to try something new that I feel God is speaking to me about. I am not going to go vegetarian persay as I will not be anal about no meat in stuff ect.....but I am going to no longer buy and cook meat. if meat is already in something like my frozen entrées then that's fine.

I am doing this because my cravings, binges etc are always meat....I mean meat with nothing else....it is nothing for me to consume a 1.5 to 2 pound steak or roast in one setting as I love meat with just salt and pepper on it and nothing else....I crave meat all the time and my down fall is buying it and cooking it as I eat the entire thing.

So to break this binge, craving of meat I will stop buying packages of meat. and focus on other protein options and frozen enters so I have no access to unlimited meat.

I know I am one of the weird ones who does not binge or crave the usual stuff but I have always been a big meat eater and man there are alot of cals in meat when consumed in large quantities like I find myself doing.

My name is Teresa.

Good morning team!! Hope all are eating well and increasing activity, to burn those calories and drop those pounds!! Hey, remember, even if you are doing ALL THAT...and you are not seeing the scale go down, BE PATIENT and don't give up...sometimes we are still dropping...you will feel it in your clothes being loser...then in a day or two...that darn scale WILL catch up and you WILL see your rewards!!! Sometimes I just make myself stay off the scale for a while...it is kind of like the old adage, a watched pot never boils...a watched scale never budges!!!!
Be kind to yourself and give yourself other types of little rewards... for your efforts...such as a new lipstick or a magazine.
Personally I love the "FIRST" magazine, it has so many tips for , not only weight loss, but many other helpful ideas as well. It is also colorful and fun to read!! I sound like a commercial.... Have a great day!! LOVE & HUGS, LaceEjo11 emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I will for sure check out your recipe too, I love new ideas and recipes that are low in cals and fat. I also make home made raw salsa, when I am not traveling I will try and get it down here. Typing and rock n rolling in an rv is a challenge with our poor country roads here in northern Minnesota, by the way where is everyone from...if you would like to share this?

emoticon emoticon emoticon YUMMY... that sounds so so good, I will try it!! I use the packaged broccoli mix ad to it walnuts (or almonds,or sunflower seeds etc.) chopped fugi apples, golden raisins, and red onions, and the LF cole slaw dressing, it is good!! I use a lot of ground turkey, salmon, lemon pepper cod, grilled chicken, and virtually NO beef or pork!! If you scroll back a ways on this thread you will find a recipe for ground turkey succotash that is great!! DIANASDREAM and I both fix it a lot...it keeps really well in the fridge (for us leftover people). That sounds a little "funky" leftover people...guess it could be a name for a band!! Have a great evening my new found friend!! LaceEjo11

B- 3 med eggs, 1 ff cheese slice, .5 c 1% milk with my two cups of coffee
L- (love left overs) 5 oz ckn brst 1/2c. peppers and onions, 1 slice VH bread and 1 slice of ff cheese
S- nabisco 100 granola bar, banana
D- 4 oz sirloin grilled steak, med potato bay seasoning sprinkled baked, carrot/cabbage/onion mushroom stir fry veggies.
a lot of tea and water and only 1 power drink 10 cals.

A good day! Could of had more veggies, but had to clean out the fridge with using up left overs and wanted no fresh produce left in the fridge over the long week end. I plan on bringing fresh veggies to snack on over the week end and share them with everyone. I love peppers, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh summer squash, cauliflower, green onions and broccoli with a ff yogurt/cottage cheese dip with garlic, dill, cucumber (peeled and minced)ripe olives(minced) and powder hidden valley mix, let set up for a couple of hours. I also make sure we will have melons around to snack on as well. Kids love the cut up apples with LF cream cheese mixed with the splenda brown sugar as a dip and peanut butter and honey mixed with LF cream cheese also.

I know I have to stay under 1200 calories to drop weight. If I go over I stay the same and can even gain if I carb it up to high. I do better on high protein counts with low fat and carbs. I drink the heck out of water and tea. No pop or juice!

Hi there emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I started back up, for us, a pound a week goal!!! I figure if even just three or four of us are doing and enjoying (plus benefiting from it) that is fine. KATHYJO might want in when, she returns from vacation. Anyone who wants in is fine, I just hope they will participate if they join!!
I am excited about it, and motivated AGAIN!!! My classes start tomorrow...plus, my ABBYs birthday party if next week-end!! WOO HOO!!! I also got a new baby enrolled in my day care today!! She is absolutely adorable, her name is Lotus, like the yoga position. I am praising GOD for answering prayers!!! I simply couldn't make it without HIM!!!
I hope you will go pick out your goal face, and post your starting weight. I am the one that is winking. EM has joined, I asked ROSEMARY, but haven't heard yet. Of course, anyone is welcome who wants to join, so if you want to ask anyone feel free. The more the merrier!! I just hope this one gets a little more action than the six week one did. LOVE & HUGS, LaceEjo11
