Welcome back! I hope you and I both have success! This is my first time as a member of Sparks. I often look at the heavy or meaty nurses in hospitals and doctor's offices and wonder why?
My youngest son is a nurse in the cardiac ward in a hospital in Southfield, MI. He says the one thing he learned since becoming a nurse is that people don't realize how important it is to eat the way our bodies were designed to eat and never drink pop, and especially don't smoke! He has become a vegetarian and is in the process of converting the rest of the family.

Welcome back to sparks!
Hi, Here I am again, trying to lose weight and get healthier. I work for a hospital and I've joined their yearly
weight loss program. A group of us girls, from two offices, joined. We are called the Cardiac Chubs! Yes we work for
cardiologists, and we are not giving a good example for our patients.
I have been with one of the doctors for 29 years, and have gained 70 pounds over the years. We started out as private practice and now work for the hospital. So my goal is to lose some of that gain before I have to retire.
I hope to work at least 5 more years.
Good luck to everyone trying to loose, no matter what your story is.
With Christ I can do anything!
