Hi all,
As I begin to get past the 'easy' to lose weight of the initial 25 lbs., I find myself in need of motivational people around me. The inherent issue, of my friends motivated for the gym, I'm the only fat one (one of my friends complained yesterday about loosing his six pack status, at 30. Thanks bro).
Anyhow, I'm looking for people nearby in similar situations, people who are motivated, and still working towards their goals. My story: 30/M who has dropped 27 lbs so far, and while I carry my weight well, I plan to lose another 35-45 lbs. by August. I've cut out soda, only drink on weekends either with friends or on dates, cut out all snacking, and eat healthy most of the time now. I've traded video games for gym time, and am interested in learning to cook better. I'd like to find others who understand the struggle of getting healthy around my area and age for motivational support or to get out for a game of tennis or kayaking to break up the gym routine.
