As far as exercise goes, try some mat Pilates and seated/prone/supine yoga, or a rowing machine that is just for upper body. The SP video library has at least one desk exercise routine, and check your library, too. Try modifying a kickboxing workout to be done seated. If you have resistance bands/cables those can also be used seated or lying down. Do you have a way to waterproof your cast/wrap/whatever you have protecting your foot? Swimming and aquatic aerobics (if you have access to a pool, obviously!) are great exercise, as well.

Hello, I'm still relatively new here. I'm liking the site quite a bit. Doing okay on weight loss so far. But last week hurt my foot when lawnmower ran over it. No worries have all toes and whole foot in tact. But doc says it will take at least 3 weeks to heal properly if not 6 weeks before I can walk or exercise like I was. Was wondering if any one had any suggestions another than trying to maintain healthy eating for exercising wise while injured? Good luck to all of you.
