Hi Deborah--I started out at the same weight as you. I work in a hospital but in a different department. Maybe we could be SP buddies :) I know how hard it can be to want to exercise and eat right when working so long and being so tired. Lets do it together okay :)

You could try portion control. My sister has been losing weight and she says she is just careful with her portions. I started yesterday and I was down a lb. this morning. No seconds!

Hi, I'm new at this. My name is Deborah, I'm 55 yrars old and weight 240 lbs I'm a registered nurse with high cholterol feet and ankles hurt after 12 hour shifts. My goal at this point in time is to loose 40 lbs which wouod get me to 200. I know Weight watchers recommends 5%at a time which would be 10 lix that sounds so doable until I try. So drink more water and exercise is my current plan. Hope to meet some friends and hear what works for them deborah
