Hi and welcome! I am excited that you are here and hope that you can accomplish your goals! My situation is similar to yours. I am in the beginning stages of insuline resistance and have a thyroid condition. For a long time I used that as an excuse that my body wasn't working so why put the effort into dieting. But more recently I lost some weight only to gain it all back proving that I had no excuses!

Hi my name is Mary Ann. I live in Michigan. I am starting with a goal to lose 55lbs by April 2013. I tried several diets where I lost 20lbs then gained it right back, not reaching my goal.
